Shopper Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Local Treasure as a shopper or creator, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Local Treasure.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Local Treasure. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Shopper Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false account information or impersonate others
• Attempt to manipulate rewards, campaigns, or scoring systems
• Post harmful, illegal, infringing, or misleading content through campaign submissions
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, APIs, or Local Treasure systems

4. Social Media Account Linking

Local Treasure may require a linked social media account for UGC campaign participation. By linking an account, you:

• Authorize us to access limited account information needed for campaign verification
• Authorize us to use OAuth tokens issued by the platform on your behalf for approved features
• Confirm you are authorized to link and use that social account

5. Rewards and Campaigns

Rewards and campaign eligibility may be limited by date, location, available inventory, and campaign-specific rules. Local Treasure and participating businesses may reject or remove submissions that do not meet campaign requirements.

6. Third-Party Services

Local Treasure integrates with third-party platforms and APIs. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Local Treasure is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Treasure is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes and Termination

We may modify these Terms or suspend/terminate access to the service at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Massachusetts.
